Gears 03:59
tick tock focus plan in progress detailed and timed calculated, simulated and memorized broken silence hear the sirens wailing outside dreams of paradise gone in a blink of an eye throw this broken watch up from the grave hoping all the gears will fall in place singing let there be just one more time, one more time in case we obtain a different sign / a way to go distant ticking any moment eyes fixed to the sky broken pieces all the pieces thrown up high
2.
Pause 05:18
rewind this found footage by just a frame, by just a frame just pause and you’ll notice the truth’s been laying right before your eyes misdirection lips are sealed tight hidden walls and deeper meanings make no mistake second guessing still it seems there’s no way so I you start creating a world that’s safe and sound you start believing things will change so I you start erasing the ones who’ve let you down but play the ending and neither of us go far just pause this, rewatch this it’s still the same it’s still the same you’ve seen this, been through this an empty game for oh so many times
3.
The Door 05:20
you’re standing at the door your life before your eyes was it time? we’ll soon be there they said hold on till we arrive was it time? the roads were dark you didn’t see me you close your eyes and turn through the trees and the rain now on the pavement you lie there world turning red hear me through a tragedy calling out your name (why don’t you open your eyes...) but who’s behind on the other side calling out to me still standing at the door the handle fixed in sight was it time? the roads were dark you didn’t see me you close your eyes world turning red you’re standing at the door... hear me through a tragedy calling out your name (why don’t you open the door...) but who’s behind on the other side calling out to me
4.
this is your life this is your life it's too plain this is your life this is your life it's over I've followed footsteps arranging all the patterns of normalcy and such who stays a sleeper forever we leave fluorescent stains beneath the sky this is your life this is your lie this is your life this is your lie this is the wake up and all the walls of ignorance come crashing down, they fall as we reach for the stars and leave fluorescent stains beneath the sky
5.
Why? 04:20
broken things and summer lies was it all a game to try your hand in all a play, written to surprise everything was left behind not a letter on the window sill no last parade vanished through the night guess I'll start by asking why? were your promises all fabricated actor posing in disguise guess I wasted all my time singing songs of grace you never kept in mind guess I wasted time sober eyes don’t see the signs cuz now who’s to say the act is finished laugh away, for this could all rewind for seven days, seven nights sitting on the porch of yesteryears with questions blurred across the sky oh why? just a door that never closed oh why? reasons never told
6.
wake up darling another day indulged in luxury and then the ocean will say what have you done wake up darling a few more days and we’ll be in the sea but all the leaders they say no need to be alarmed oh I’ve seen the traces have you seen why the city’s in the ocean? at the same time, we’re fighting to reward ourselves as water fill our lungs wake up darling another breath and we’ll be in the sea still all the leaders they say no need to be alarmed oh I’ve seen the traces heard the screaming yet we pay no mind have you seen why the city’s in the ocean? at the same time, we’re fighting to reward ourselves as water, it fills up it’ll wash away the glory and the shame have you seen why we drown
7.
Chemicals 06:20
and as the tick tock it goes to waste maybe I'll just drift along maybe I'll just sink along and as the timeline erases us all maybe I just don't recall or maybe I just don't belong a single light, single light will go on and when the chemicals they change your song and when the silhouettes they shadow everything inside you sing what you like a single light, single light will go on and when the images they catch your fall best days to hold your life and if the next time is winter or fall paralyzed, paralyzed but safe oh don't relate and don't confide in words of mine and sometimes smiling takes, it takes your all and as the seconds tick, the minutes call lesson here is don't rely ah, it's been too long
